JayJay1374
Fitted some oem footwell lights the other day. And I wasn't too impressed. The amount of light amitted by the stock bulbs is pretty poor. So I bought some green T5 smds. Stock daytime pic: Smd daytime pic: And smd night picture: Much better. JayJay1374
Update. A couple weeks ago I bought some uk spec wheels. They are desperate for a refurb. And I'm desperate to test out my new sand blaster. So today I had a go at the fronts. So from this. To this. And in primer. Very happy with the sand blaster. Took no effort to blast though the paint and all corrosion.

Ive got some stock wheels sitting there too im tempted to stick them back on after just buying some brand new rota's! Thanks mate. I couldn't of done it without my dad helping. But I'm planning on rebuilding his van engine soon. I'm only using the oem wheels as a temperary measure but I've always wanted a set. I need to find some facelift centre caps as they are much better.
Rywalls
Fair one, good experience though and that unit is perfect for all the work you're doing. I wanted to keep mine kind of stock but after seeing yours it makes me want a big wing!
JayJay1374
Yeah it's great having the space to do these things. Gonna start renting the ramp out soon too. I wasn't too sure about the wing at first. It looked rubbish as the legs where corroded silver, the feet where silver and the blade needed relaquring. But after a bit of paint it looked loads better. And when the trial rear went on that just changed the whole back end! Everyone needs a big gay wing!
safcdixon
Sell the Rays get the UKs banded and powder coated job done Matts normally spouting cack but on this occasion he speaks sense Cant help but think it will look slightly odd with stock wheels and that mahoosive wing though, unless they were orange or green racecar style
JayJay1374
He very rarely does but they just wouldn't suit the car. Anyway good news! Both fronts are in etch primer The bad news, the rears don't fit into the sand blaster as they are too wide. Might have to get creative here....... JayJay1374
Pikey technology prevails all! Eventually sandblasted the rears. And a video for comedy value. http://s298.photobucket.com/user/jonny_106/media/2341BAE9-D27F-4533-B652-C6DA0D0A2D67_zpssfbvjo74.mp4.html Edited November 2, 2015 by JayJay1374 (see edit history)
supra_ufo
are these winter wheels mate or to replace your current ones? Im after some stock 17s, loving the updates to your car
JayJay1374
Well originally they where meant to be winter wheels. Then I decided to have a play with the new sand blaster. So these will be winter/track wheels. As I plan on doing atleast one track day next year. And I'd rather not be running spacers when on track. Plus I've always wanted a set of oem 17s
