CraigD0404 Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 I am looking for a new exhaust for my n/a, ive got a blitz nur spec double decat just now, but I feel its a bit too loud say going about 20-40, id like something a bit quieter until I put the foot down, any suggestions? I guess you really need to do one or the other . . . personally I'd choose stock spec silencers but no Cats That's what I've got with the 2JZ-GE in my Mk3 Supra . . . no cats, but stock exhaust system It's pretty quiet for just driving around (under 3000rpm) . . . but when you open it up there's a nice roar . . . but still not so loud that you'd attract attention from the police. Nic Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 If there's room you could look at getting a 2nd silencer welded into the mid pipe, a large oval silencer should help reduce the noise level quite a bit. GMan Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I got an apexi ats in my full obx exhaust system(OBX Headers, 3 inch second decat and 3 inch cat back. it's expensive and looks strange but its the best of both worlds really.
