David P
Fitting an uprated fuel pump to J spec tank can cause fuel starvation when fuel level is below 1/4. J spec tanks and U.K. tanks have different plumbing inside. U.K. spec has an additional hose that plumbs returned fuel to the inside of tank baffle with a swirl, but the J spec just wazzes it back through a straight open pipe. Fitting a short length of hose to the return pipe on J spec fuel pump mount assembly and routing this fuel into a swirl return inside the baffle emulates the U.K. tank plumbing and takes the wazz out of it.
