JK90
I used the auto glym stuff off eBay, black coated really well
skippyboyo1
Just make sure you wear a rubber glove and rub it in. Cheep eBay stuff will do fine! Sure I used 2L but can't remember
Al Massey
I bought a spray bottle for watering plants and it worked a treat, but it stains like a bitch
Rich.2211
I've used the Valeters Pride stuff, along with dye from other manufactures but they all seem to end up wearing off and the carpet returns to a dark grey. I've dyed four Supra carpets so far and they've all done the same - am I doing something wrong?
fastcar
I've used the Valeters Pride stuff, along with dye from other manufactures but they all seem to end up wearing off and the carpet returns to a dark grey. I've dyed four Supra carpets so far and they've all done the same - am I doing something wrong? I have heard this before one of the reason why I don't want to dye mine. Has anyone else had this problem?

J_Supra_07
I did mine today. It's not to bad
C_Strike
Iv done mine twice in 2 years with the same £20 ebay buy. its only the obvious areas of the carpet that are used that lose their colour. I did the floor mats, the roof liner and visors to good effect. For the price and ease of doing it... I really dont mind. Graham1984
I would do a half arsed in car job to avoid removing anything
markssupra
I have dyed mine ready to go back in, not a hard job to do, just messy. Headlining would not turn black though, gave up and tried something else
spider2123
I think I'll try it as the carpet is already out.
Jellybean
I have mine done about 2 years now, used Fabric spray with a UV protector; still as black and the dye never came off http://www.fabricspray.ie/shop/upholstery-spray-paint/midnight-black https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/541349_369270716442254_970458022_n.jpg https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc3/294952_369271206442205_622827940_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/540645_369244703111522_1258244767_n.jpg
TubbyTwo
Mines over a year old as well and fine. I did pressure wash and thoroughly clean the carpet first.

It's just nothing like as black as it was when I first dyed it. I pressure washed mine too before it was dyed and used a fabric protector.
