I'm not looking to spend £1000's but wouldn't mind upgrading the discs. I think it has two pots on the front!! Does anyone have any recommendations and where is the best place to purchase? Need4Speed Posted March 17, 2003 Share Posted March 17, 2003 Put the Uk front calipers and discs (rears if you want to spend money) on but check your rims will fit over the calipers. Apart from heavy track-day use, you will be surprised at how good they are compared to the Japanese brakes. Do a search on this site, there are loads of threads on this subject. Alex Posted March 17, 2003 Share Posted March 17, 2003 There arn't really any uprated discs per-say for the j-spec discs. I looked high and low and can't find any. The Pads are what make the real difference. Get yourself some stock discs with decent pads, stainless steel hoses and high quality brake fluid and you should get an improvement. However it will never beat chaning to UK's. Chris Wilson or Leon should be able to sort you out with all of the above at a reasonable price.
