Gretie22
Washed the car today and noticed I've been parked next to an evil little tree that has dropped sticky s*** all over my car and it won't come off it comes off if you scratch it, but not with my wash mitt. Any Ideas what I can use to get it off? my dad said I should use white spirit, but I really don't like that Idea. This is the evil stuff:

Gretie22
Thanks, can you recommend me a clay to buy? I know Meguiars do it. Anyone know if it's any good?

TubbyTwo
Bilt Hamber regular clay. On ebay for £12 for a massive block. Only need to use water with it. Huge bar much better value than meguires. You can get 5 bars from one block mine has lasted ages.

Gretie22
Pollen in February, was that from from your Valentine bouquets? Lol sadly not it's actually from the most pathetic little tree, but it has these tiny little sticky buds on it.

Gretie22
I'd deal with the tree first I would if it was my tree, it's in our residential car park. What's annoying is the tree is in the middle of the two best spaces in the car park, which are corner spaces that I park most of the time as no one can open their doors into my car. Dnk
If its sticky then i'd guess tar and glue remover would also shift it, then re polish your paintwork

David P
I like trees, but not anti-car trees planted in a car park. Heap it's little patch of soil with rock salt for it's sins.
