Nic
I've used this on brake callipers a few times, it's a 2K paint that you mix a hardening into, easy to brush on and gives a very hardwearing smooth gloss finish. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/caliper-paint/foliatec-brake-caliper-paint-and-engine-lacquer
David P
Hammerite brush on engine paint does the job a treat without spending more on trendy potions.

Guest Roger NE
I always use proper Engine Lacquer . . . most car accessory shops sell it, and it usually comes in black, green, blue or red

Rich.2211
Hammerite Smooth, with a brush, is what I used on my block. Oil, dirt, coolant doesn't seem to effect it as it just wipes straight off. Hasn't been effected by the heat from the turbo either.
MK2
looking at effects too crinkle etc.. I had great succes with VHT wrinkle black on my valvecovers. Lasted very well and no primer needed.
tooquicktostop
Why, what happened Raised the intake temps due to heat soak
mellonman
Raised the intake temps due to heat soak I thought this also for when people paint there blocks its the same thing paint does not conduct heat that well , so its similar to having a heat shield
ripped_fear
Raised the intake temps due to heat soak Very interesting think i will abandon the idea of painting mine now and just polish it instead.
