jon_dragon
I've got a bit of a leak from the roof on my aerotop and it's making my girlfriend wet... Not in a good way. She decided to coat the leaky area with Vaseline which I thought might eat the rubber over time. Has anyone got any good ideas on how to fix a leak? New seal ect...? supra joe
I got new seals from the states, about 225 delivered. That's for 4 seals, Toyota UK charge about 360 for 2 !
Josh42
Ultimately, you need a new seal... But I coat mine in vaseline(ooooh arrrr) once a month and there's no leaks

jon_dragon
Whifbitz want £376.04 for all the seals. I work at Toyota and I can get them (with my discount) for £245.74 I think when the vaseline stops working then I'll treat myself to new seals if I've still got the car by then. sz aero supra
might be that you just need to screw the bolts in a specific order,i had the same issue with my aerotop.just made sure i got the roof in place first then turned the 4 corner bolts in slightly before secureing centre bolt, than worked my way back around tightning all 4 mega tight.hope you get this sorted cheeply

jon_dragon
Yeah, I might get in trouble for that many seals. My boss might find it odd that I've spent over £700 in 1 transaction. However. If you seriously want a set, I can get the front seal and the 2 top roof seals for £261.53 - legitimately. If anyone wants a rear seal I can get one for £95.69 Edited February 15, 2014 by jon_dragon (see edit history)
