FOSTA
What rubber hangers/ mounts are you guys using? I've always used 2 O-ring rubber exhaust hangers on my back box of my nur spec-r but they only last around 1 year at a time as they keep detariating/ cracking. I just noticed that my exhaust was off to one side there and looked under to find one of the 2 O-rings had craked and snapped. So I want somthing that is going to last and not keep needing replacing every 12months! Thanks guys
listy
Iirc I have one from a LR Defender on my back box. It broke and had one lying around so used it, and it's been on ever since. Puts the exhaust in the perfect position for a trial rear too

Josh
I use the rubber rings too and they suck. They have to be a large size to get them onto the hanger on the car and the exhaust, but then the exhaust hangs down too low and also hangs to the right on mine (Nur Spec R as well). With the shape of the hanger on the car, I couldn't find or think of anything else that would work but still allow the exhaust to move relatively freely. Other than loads of elastic bands

Other than loads of elastic bands Yeah I use 2 o-rings with 33mm internal diameter. I put the 2 on the hanger that is attached to the exhaust and connect one to each side of the hanger on the car. This sits the exhaust perfectly in the stock bumper but I need to replace the every 12months if I don't want my exhaust to scrape the floor lol. My exhaust used to hang in the right position as far as I remember, but in the last year or so, it seems to be hanging to the right too far. It needs to be pulled up and to the left a bit. Maybe a rubber ring on the right side and a jubilee clip on the left and that would hold it in the right place. My Dad spotted one of the rings on the floor under my car a few weeks ago, and that's the first one that's broken and fallen off. I broke one when removing the exhaust to change the cat in September, but they do get brittle and fall apart very easily. Good job I've got a large stash of them! Big Mark
I had two O rings but one kept coming off, the exhaust didn't sit quite right and it started banging so took the car in to a local exhaust specialist who fitted two proper exhaust hangers for cost. Exhaust now sits perfectly and securely.

Exhaust now sits perfectly and securely. Thinking of doing the same thing and going to charlies garage off city road, 1 O ring decided to snap, i applied and modified a jubilee clip and applied some zip ties to the rubber ring and attached to the clip, now its strong, wont snap, no exhasut knocking the frame underneath, all secure but was a pain inthe ass to do
