What do you mean by full conversion loom?

Having just fitted a 2JZ in my Mk3, I spent ages sussing out all the wiring before doing the transplant . . . considering how much I could have got wrong, was delighted when it started straight away!

You have fitted a Manual Loom, but is it the original Auto ECU? (if so, that could be your problem)

For example, the main engine ECU needs to get a signal to know you are starting, so it gives the right signals to the Fuel Pump ECU. Also the EFI Relay needs to get power to operate the injectors etc.

Before you try and trace the wiring, the easiest thing to do is connect a multimeter to the Fuel Pump pin on the engine's Check Connector to check there is voltage there when you are cranking - you should see 10 - 12V.

Also read the Fault Codes, as that will tell you what is wrong ! (presume you have a copy of the TSRM to look this up?)

i have a 2jzge auto, i have converted it to manual with manual loom and ecu etc, it cranks but doesn't spark at all.

I'm really struggling to find what the problem is and i have spoke to david p and have tried both the manual ecu and auto ecu to start it up and nothing happens

if any one can give me a call or message me that would help a lot and maybe get it started again.

Well we can't help you without any feed back !

Have you measured the Fuel Pump voltage on the Check Connector like I suggested?

And what Fault Codes are you getting?

Does the ecu need coding to the car?

No it doesn't

There's no relay for the Fuel Pump - it's fed by it's own Controller. Do you have a Multimeter to check the voltage like I suggested?

And you don't need anything to read the Fault Codes - you just read the flashes on the dash light!

I guess you haven't read the TSRM - think there is a link on here to an online version

I see you have started SEVERAL new threads !!! Please just stick to this one, then we will try and help you.

Did you measure the FP voltage on the check connector?

And have you read your Fault Codes? The instructions how to do it are on the Link that ScottC posted for you

He took a direct feed to the Starter Motor I think, that's why it now cranks . . .

He asks for help . . . . but seems unwilling to do some simple diagnostic checks and report back !

It tends to happen a lot in tech section tbh, the problem gets fixed but no one gets to know how, then we end up with threads for the same problem because some dont report how they did it or what was broken/faulty

Not every OP does this but a small minority do.
