Gaz6002
He'd most likely be going sequential if building a proper race car. Is this car to be based on an NA or a TT? It'll be based on a TT and it won't be sequential. I'll use a six-speed.

Dnk
The regs look pretty open other than it has be stock gearbox with no mods, suspension is free along with the brakes, if you had a bpu supra with 400 hp you'd be in the elite class by the look of it. I'd be up for helping out in the paddock, pit crew on the wall with the board and watch etc, plenty of race experience ranging from single seaters to classic touring cars

Dnk
Looks like a big choice in tyres is allowed to MSA 1a & 1b http://www.msauk.org/uploadedfiles/msa_forms/bluebooks/14/192_202_Common_Regulations_for_Permitted_Tyres_(L).pdf
bignum
I wouldn`t mind getting involved somehow, i`d have to sort my license out if i was driving, then it would all depend on how much cash i`d have to stump up, tbh i can`t see many "privateers" having a go unless, A. they have a shit load of money to blow or B. there`s some advertising gain to be had, i think it would be ideal for 1 of our resident traders to go in on this for the advertising alone, as said though i`m interested and think i tick most of the boxes, i`ll have a read through the links later. ManwithSupra
Nah, it'll need building from the ground up to proper race regs This is true, due to the engine position, extensive chassis changes its only eligible for a couple of series if that. Time Attack is one of them, Euro saloons have said they will need to have a look at it but 750MC would just flat refuse it. I can take comfort in the fact its almost as useless for racing as a Zonda R I have been doing work to it to satisfy TA and ES but Every other series requires a bit more of the Original chassis Good luck with it mate If you want you are welcome to use my Hubstands, Geo lines kit and corner weighting setup if you wish. I think the idea would be to build a car with the forum looking on and cover it step-by-step on here as well as all my other outlets It's a decent proposal for a business to get on board as I can offer all sorts of benefits for the right sponsor. That's the route I would take with it.
Paul Whiffin
Our 2 Whifbitz Supra's were full on race cars, Steve Lintons is no longer and mine is pretty much gathering dust in the workshop at the moment. If you want to read about them take a look at the build blogs http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/news/category/paul-whiffins-time-attack-supra/page/11/ and Steve's car http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/news/category/steve-lintons-time-attack-supra/page/6/ plus there are 2 build threads on here. We have 5 years of Time Attack and 1 year of Eurosaloon racing experience, 2008 being our best season 1st and 3rd in our Time Attack class and 2nd/3rd in 2009, in that time we gained a HUGE amount of knowledge on what works and doesn't work, if you need any help with anything let me know.
