Delboy52
I'm going to have to make some modifications to my bonnet and looking for some style ideas. Found this image of the kind of thing I'm thinking of. On a side note, what do you think of the headlight overlap that's been done? It's a Photoshop apparently. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?629251-Does-anyone-on-SF-know-where-they-make-this-hood-in-the-OEM-version-or-is-Custom
imi
Looks good
Tsia
The headlight overlap looks awful IMO, it's the sort of thing you expect on Corsas and Fiestas to make them look 'meaner' than the school run car that they really are.
Kaan W
Thats a do luck bonnet, I started making a copy but with the bulge being 30mm higher than that. Doubt I'll ever finish it with everything else that needs to be done first. As for the headlights it's a bit old school, crap, max power, fiesta, 106, saxo badboy for me. Takes away the signature supra look imo.
Stonkin
Not normally a fan of the 'badboy' bonnet extensions, but, in that picture i think it looks great. If it is a photoshop? i doubt you could get it to work quite as smoothly as that with the way the supra lights fit to the bumper and bonnet edges though. Delboy52
Does the Do-Luck bonnet have that bulge towards the windscreen in it's design?
Kaan W
Yep
Delboy52
Nice. I thought it was custom at first. You have any photos of your bonnet progress Kaan?
Graham1984
I don't mind the headlights looking like that, I think with the front bumper and in black it works.
Noz
I think it makes the front end look a bit newer. The headlights don't look like `bad boy` because the round curvature keeps it looking like headlights and not evil eyes corsa style. Think it looks good. But probably way more hassle than it's really worth.
Kaan W
Nice. I thought it was custom at first. You have any photos of your bonnet progress Kaan? Not yet, it's only at early stages at the moment building the main structure from wood over an old j spec bonnet, once fillered and smoothed off I can then make a mould. pedrosixfour
I really like the alteration to the headlights/bonnet. I for one always thought the stock headlights made the front of the Supra a tad wishy-washy.

This 100% I think the headlamp alteration is a really nice touch it's not ott like the saxo brigade
Abz
Got to say that looks fantastic, also agree that it isn't OTT so the over lap is perfect. Though it helps the rest of the car looks awesome too
safcdixon
Another here thst thinks the "badboy" bonnet looks good, its refreshing to see something different

Lots of them have rounded headlights and get these silly 'eyebrows' put on them. I'm all for subtle mods, but taking queues from Max Power and Fast Car magazines really ruins Supras IMO
Al Massey
I'm all for subtle mods, but taking queues from Max Power and Fast Car magazines really ruins Supras IMO So your car is 100% stock?
Gpro
its unique, i like it
Tsia
So your car is 100% stock? Not entirely, it has alloys and it's despoilered.(I'll be reversing the latter soon) - hardly something associated with Max Power magazine covers now is it? The eyebrows just cheapen it, Supra headlights are pretty recognisable - you know it's a Supra, not some random sh**ter with extra bits of fibreglass tacked on to the bonnet. Edit: Furthermore, the OP asked for opinions, he didn't say "Please only post your opinion about this bonnet if it's positive."
Delboy52
Oh no, fire away guys. I was more into the fact that the Do Luck bonnet has a bulge at the back than the headlight eyelids. No matter though
Tsia
I like the bonnet bulge though, yes. It looks decent. Wouldn't have it myself, mind.
David P
I've played this game and found that the simplest solution is to rework a fibreglass bonnet, plenty of pics of it in my Labyrinth.
Delboy52
It's for functional reasons that I'm going to need to make a change. Either modify my Jspec or find a bonnet like this. Looks like Do Luck bonnets are rare and don't fit first time. - - - Updated - - - You did it to a Charge Speed didn't you David? I looked at your thread last night. David P
There's no more space under them than a stock bonnet either, take a look at the Chargespeed bonnet I modified.
David P
There are several different fibreglass bonnet designs that could be modified to suit, just cut out the silly vents and put a lid on it.
