Matsi
Hi everyone, I have just got some new aftermarket seats and I have been told off a member the oem seat rails bolt straight on, I have the original seats out of the car but I am unsure how to take the rails off, any ideas? Thanks

skippyboyo1
Yes you can take them off. I had standard supra seats and fitted Civic type r seats. I don't this by fixing the supra rails to them. Get your seats out and have a look.... It's not an easy job but I did it.(I can't remember if I had to weld them or not) One thing I need to point out though is the standard supra seats sit real real real low, depending how your going to attach the rails you could end up far too high. Depending on how tall you are. I'm 6.3 and I've only been able to get as low as the supra oem seats by getting corbeau pro series XXL seats with corbeau side mounts on johns low mounts
