slugger1
Yesterday I noticed that the orange O/D light for the auto box is starting to flash. Not sure how long it has been doing it as it was obscured by a turbo timer mounted behind the steering wheel (now removed). Any ideas what would cause this to flash? safcdixon
The speed sensor is normally the blame or the jdm speed convertor may have a wiring fault Do a search for code 42 theres a few things it could be in the threads that come up
David P
Identify the error code it's trying to tell you.
slugger1
I think it was the removal of the turbo timer that caused the issue as I have re-connected and the light no longer comes on. I think I will leave it alone in future
LOGIE
At least yours was a quick fix. I have no wipers... been at it all day. Given up now I think I'll just only drive on dry days and never go more than 1 mile from the house just in case. Problem solved.

I think I will leave it alone in future Maybe I spoke too soon as the light is coming back on again! I assume if the ecu is reset then it should go off again? Swampy442
Only until certain conditions are met i.e. certain speed for a certain time. Pull the error codes and see what you get.
