C33JAY
Sup People I have recently started to get brake judder through my brake peddle when braking hard from speed, I know my UK Sup has had New rear disc some time back not many miles ago and i have changed the pads on the rear. Could this judder be my front discs ? I have no record of them ever being changed so im guessing perhaps they have seen better days ? Is there a visual way of telling and perhaps if i strip my brakes down could tell ? or is this a Garage job ? Thanks for any replies CJ
Clarkey
Warped Front disks. If the pedal pulses beneath your foot .. then definately your fronts are cooked. I think £140 + vat for 2 UK Disks. I'd also get the pins as well ... the ones you've got are probably buggered. I've got the same problem as you. Just got all the bits for replacing the UK Fronts. Bobbeh
Gonna fit yourself? If you goto a dealer they'll charge you for pads, discs and labour!
b.weeks
Could possibly be tracking mis-aligned too I guess ...
Nic
If you have a knackered wheel bearing, you will also feel it under braking. Jack your car up and check for any side to side play on the wheels.
Pig
If your hard on your brakes you will only do it again. Buy drilled disks!

VIL
Warped discs! I had the same, the pads had worn thin and I guess warped the discs, which was a bugger as they where bloody expensive drilled and grooved jobbies! Chances are the pads are shot as well! AlanM
Just had the same problem with new upgrade to UK Spec brakes three months ago. Turned out to be front offside wheel bearing - I could have sworn it was a warped disk

My DBAs just love getting hot. They can eat through pads though, so be warned.
