markssupra
In need of some advice on this, regarding being road legal and where to run the darn lines I have 25 meters of Goodridge -3 stainless braided hose and stainless male fittings. After a lot of head scratching over the weekend on how/where to run the brake lines without bending the lines smaller than the minimum bend radius and interfering with suspension etc, I have come to the conclusion that I would rather replace the original lines with copper nickle lines instead and flare/bend as neccessary. All the male fittings I need for the braided hose should be M10x1 concave, but I cannot find anything with a swivel other than female fittings and then nothing to convert it to. Opinions please on running all braided hose or replacing original steel hard lines with copper nickel. BTW my ABS pump is now behind the rear seat so makes it more awkward running 2 lines from the pump to the master cylinder.
TheTurtleshead
Run hard lines on the chassis every time. Braided lines are, at the end of the day still flexible, and will reduce your pedal feel. You should only need the flexis for the calipers. markssupra
Thanks James, that's what I was thinking last night, I don't want to run the lines anywhere but the stock positions where possible which will not happen easily with braided hose. Oh well, best get ordering the hard lines

markssupra
What fittings did you use John? Trying to source swivel fittings to work with the male M10 concave fittings is a pita. The company supplying the parts can only come up with adapters and I dont fancy loads of joins trying to fit the stock positions.

markssupra
Cheers John, What about running the braided lines under the car. The easiest route for the drivers side front to ABS pump in the boot is along the outside of the right side chassis rail, this avoids the 180° bend in the hose going through the inner wing. Would this be ok for a road car as I dont want it fail an MOT inspection.
