mk1its
Guys Do all Jap Supras have this amber stick on the rear drivers side light?
red_zebra
That'll be where they have put the rear fog light, it's usually clear because they j-sepcs have two reverse lights. Most people put in a red bulb... but I guess an amber sticker works too.
Fly
As above, the second previous owner on mine decided to super glue a red plastic filter to the outside to do the same.

I'm surprised that has passed any MOT with that on

red_zebra
lol really...hmm, can I simply fit UK rear lights and problem solved? Well presumably that light has been wired up to work as a fog light? If so just peel off the amber sticker and change the bulb to a red one. Al Massey
lol really...hmm, can I simply fit UK rear lights and problem solved? Heckler does a little device for a fiver, you just cut a wire to the red outer rings, slip this device in, connect wire from switch and bobs ya uncle. I may have one or two spare if you want it. Dan_Turism0
I just wired up a relay so that 2 of my rear lights (1 each side) would function as both fog and brake light, when fog was off all 4 rear lights would work as brake, when fog on the 2 inner without reflector would be lit and the remaining 2 would come on under braking. Cost about £5 and took about 15mins, meant I kept both of my reverse lights as i have OCD like that
supra steveo
i had to sort out my foglight when i bought my 2nd supra , the bloke before me had painted the bulb red so that was an easy fix, next the i reconnected the reverse wire that had been cut to wire in the fog light so now i had the 2 reverse lights working then on the red tail light next to there is a double element bulb so i cut the wire and daisy chained it to the other side too and hey presto fog lights on both sides and reverse lights on both sides . if something has been glued to the lens you might need a new rear light
LOGIE
It's worth noting if you put a fog light in the right side reverse light it "might" still fail an MOT as the fog light has to be a certain distance from a taillight. Im not sure on this distance in mm's but that's why UK spec cars rear light layout is different. It all depends on how clued up or strick you MOT man is.
