berg
Ive bought one of the above just waiting for it to arrive Question is does it sit underneath the top lip of the front bumper where that bolts to the frame under the rubber seal? Reason for asking as looking at the pics it only has 1 hole on that part of the plate and i fitted my do luck bumper with 3 bolts underneath the rubber seal at the top Didnt want to drill holes in it to fit it. Bossco
The rubber strip and it's metal retainer fit on top mate. You won't need to drill any holes. You'll see when it arrives. 2 minute job.
scott87
Do these serve a purpose other than looking nice? Can one be bought in plain plastic so i can paint myself?
Iky
Do these serve a purpose other than looking nice? Can one be bought in plain plastic so i can paint myself? I think its job is to force more air through the radiator rather than it going up over it.
scott87
I think it is supposed to force more air through the radiator rather than it going up over it. Oh fair enough I want a plain 'plastic' one so I can spray it the same colour as my car. They exist? Sorry to steal thread.

Buy a sheet of coloured plexi if you wanna have it colour coded, then just cut to shape and size
scott87
Buy a sheet of coloured plexi if you wanna have it colour coded, then just cut to shape and size I want it cut like the carbon one and plain so I can spray it in a booth same as car. So it looks like bodywork.
samdale
Thread bump to prove I've at least tried the search feature. Am I just being a bit of a fud, or does it not fit over the expansion tank?
Frank Bullitt
You need to move the expansion tank http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=191710&stc=1&d=1411479170
