Thomas.B
Hi! I have UK spec fronts but am thinking of changing both discs, anyone know where I can get new ones for a good price? Only have Jspec rears in good condition though. How much better are the UK spec rears? thanks Edited January 25, 2014 by Thomas.B (see edit history)
Dnk
I'd get a price from your local Toyota dealership first and then take it from there, ask for as much discount as possible, 20% i'd have thought off discs etc Steve Manley at Inchcape Toyota could possibly sort you out as well but obviously you'd have shipping cost on top. His number is 01865 291333 You could use my old UK cars reg number to get your prices L143 JFU or the chassis number JT164JA8000014314 The larger 4 piston 2 piston brakes are better as they are opposed pistons rather than the smaller sliding carrier type. Calipers front or rear are approx £190 each Edited January 25, 2014 by Dnk (see edit history)
Mk4Gaz
Euro car parts will stock the discs, pattern ones by pagid. I paid £40 for the pair for mine
Dnk
I never fit cheap pattern discs, they can be ok and they can be junk, o/e Toyota work very very well so i personally stick with them.
Westy
I've secured a 30% discount from my local MrT on a full set of UK brakes...quote is held on the system for when I'm ready to buy.
Dan_Q
good work. I had 35% off UK front discs, only got 20% I think off rears though, always thought it strange how each Toyota dealer has a random percentage generator when you walk through the threshold lol
Mk4Gaz
Pagid are oem fit in a lot of manufacturers cars now, so I'm quite happy that they will suffice.
Nic
Brake discs are heavy, you'll probably find they cost more to post to Sweden than they are to buy, might be worth checking locally to see how prices compare.

Thomas.B
Thanks for the help I'll go with UK spec brakes for now, dont think that brake parts are some of the things you should try and find the cheapest possible. And UK ones seem to be fairly cheap too. Car is 500+rwhp and the figure will go up, I dont want brakes to be an issue.
