Guest suprageek
I've recently noticed that my front tyres are wearing on the inside, the car is on 18" rims and is lowered on H&R coilovers, I've decided to get the alignment done what I want to know is does anyone have the settings for 18" rims and lowered as the guy that's going to do it has asked me if I know them, thanks in advance
Ian C
Stock camber settings I'd imagine. If your alignment person hasn't got access to them, maybe ask why not
Westy
This was my before and after. Grip is sensational now and tyre wear is much better.
Dnk
The toe is critical to tyre wear and should be toeing in on both front and rear wheels but only by a few minutes Tell him the rear toe is adjustable incase he doesn't know
Guest suprageek
He does have access to the stock settings Ian but the car is lowered and on bigger rims so I imagine the settings are different

Graham1984
Cheers dnk! Post up how you get on as my NA does this too, I would use the above that Westy posted but surely the NA setting are different due to weight difference?
Guest suprageek
I will indeed, the car is booked in for Monday morn, will keep you all posted!
Ian C
He does have access to the stock settings Ian but the car is lowered and on bigger rims so I imagine the settings are different The alignment should still be the same Doesn't matter how big the rims are or how lowered it is, the wheels still need to have the same caster, camber, toe in toe out etc. or it'll handle differently (and usually poorly; tramlining and inner tyre edge wear are the immediate suspects). You might not actually be able to achieve stock settings because of the amount it's lowered, but that's a different issue.

Guest looneytoones
if you can get a full geo check on it, not with the laser track but with the camera track, it's a thousand times more accurate and it has the settings stored in its memory, it can tell you if you camber caster and aslo toe in-out needs adjusting and how much by even on the rear
