Swampy442
Was sorting out my engine oil cooler ready to be refitted when I noticed a crack in one of the 10 AN connectors, took it off and it fell to pieces. So if you have a car with old fittings, give them a look. Also looking for an oil cooler and some lines lol.
Noz
Cheap alloy sadly. I looked at making a much stronger AN fitting from stainless steel. They are just 37° cone fittings. I'm fairly sure there's a few high end market companies that make seriously good fittings, just expensive. Were they eBay specials mate? EDIT: I've got a spare cooler by the way. Need's a couple of AN adapters welded onto it though. Brand new and it's a big one too if your keen. Cheap too?
Dnk
That's shockingly bad, it looks like a chemical reaction between the st/st hose and the aluminium alloy fitting has been going on

Swampy442
That's shocking, what brand are those fittings? No Idea Nic, they do have ident marks but no brands. These fittings were on the outside of the car where the cooler is, funny thing was, on the ends of the hoses at the filter housings were Earls fittings, which were mint as you might expect. Quite why the builder put 2 different fittings on one hose, who knows? Cheap fittings The other end
