st3ven1
Would I be near in saying a tt auto non facelift would be the last tt to find a price rise? You would be correct. Still could be worse, N/A autos will be scrap money before they go up in price.
j_jza80
It is conceivable that the price of low mileage, unmodified cars will surpass big budget singles within the next few years. Numbers are dwindling now too, there is probably around half the number of Supras for sale on the main Japanese sales sites that there were 5 years ago. Jurgen-Jm-Imports
Out of interest Jurgen, what sort of cars are you seeing up for sale in JPN? Are they stock, lightly modded or just straight crazy! Which ones seem more popular? I've noticed here that there aren't many stock TT6's about, they all seem to be modified in some way, but most buyers seem to be looking for stock. all sorts of cars stock, crazy modded ones.. am buying a lot of skylines at moment
Big Supes
I've been keeping an eye on Supra prices in the UK ever since I sold my last one ten years ago. They've definitely gone up. 7 or so years ago you could have bought a nice 6sp single for 10k... good luck with that now.

j_jza80
How much are GZ Aerotops going for Stock ones are going to be worth a premium soon, they're very rare. There's going to be be damand for these cars in a few years, when the US market opens up to them. I would guess that there's more RHD Supras in the UK than any other country outside Japan, so the sudden demand should have a big impact here. GMan
I am an American living in Europe in 2018 my 93 turns 25 and I can legally take it back with me. Those of you who have close to stock cars in good shape can expect a huge demand.

tkddav3
When j specs can legally enter the USA then USA prices will drop a load? If I'm not mistaken?
SPG
When j specs can legally enter the USA then USA prices will drop a load? If I'm not mistaken? maybe at first, but then then same situation as the UK Spec cars will ensue.
j_jza80
When j specs can legally enter the USA then USA prices will drop a load? If I'm not mistaken? I would predict a drop in US values, and a rise in UK / J-spec values.
GMan
jWill this be '93 cars only, or all MKIV Supras? the law is based on year of manufacture so 93's in 2018, 94's in 2019 etc. The law also states that the car must be totally unmodified! I would predict a drop in US values, and a rise in UK / J-spec values. spot on. a us 94 na auto goes for about 9k usd that will drop but not by much as they will be able to add the price of shipping for one in the uk and stil offer a lhd car so if an na auto goes for 3k GBP it is around 4.5 k USD shipping will be at least 2K +customs and tax and thus the final price will be 8.5-9K

Mully
Surely with the increase in the yen there will be a run on the auctions and the price of all 90's high performance cars will go up.Well maybe not non turbo Mitsubishi GTOs because they where shit.
