Fly
Hi guys I'm looking for some new injectors as I thought I might be pushing the limit of the the 440s and ideally I don't want to limit myself in terms of bhp because I installed small jets. Anyway I have heard rumblings on many forums that the emu struggles to run any fuel injector over about the 650cc size, now is this correct or mere speculation? If I were to install the 750s, assuming the emu can run them I wouldn't want anywhere near that power yet but then I don't have to upgrade the injectors later. However I'm running standard ge fuel lines and rail, aeromotive fpr and walbro 255 pump so I might not be set up yet to run jets as big as 750. My other thought was the buy 550s as they would be happy at the 500bhp mark and not pushing there duly cycle plus assuming the rumblings are true emu could run them and tts run 550s so I don't think I would have any issues in terms of fuel system hardware. Just looking for a bit of advice thanks chaps and chappesses.
ADD
I'd go for 650's mate if ya want 500bhp mark, if ya go higher you will need a different ECU as EMU can't handle bigger (I was told)
Rich.2211
I'm running 650cc on a Emanage Ultimate and it handles them perfectly fine. Idle, cold starts etc just the same as it did when it was stock
ashbuster
ive been told by a reliable guy that the emanage ultimate can handle much more emanage blue handles 650's fine.................. Fly
Again seems to be hit and miss even in this thread we are 50/50 as to if the emu can run the 750s . I know berg Ryan around 500bhp on 440s so they can push their limits . But I don't want to thrash them to their limits. Worst case ile gofor the 550s combined with water meth should provide good results but would rather go for 750s and just run them on a lower power setting
Rich.2211
Why not buy high imp 650's?
Fly
Why not buy high imp 650's? The company I'm chatting with only do 550 and 750 high imp . I've emailed them asking if they can supply 650 too so waiting on them

Tricky-Ricky
I was running 570cc injectors with EMU at about 530BHP, the area where the EMU struggles is actually the injector lag time, and with some injectors it can be a bit of a task to get the idle correct and smooth, a bit of experimentation usually sorts it, but it will not be the expected/recommended lag times. Ian C
I've run 720cc injectors for ten years now on an EMB for about 2 of them and then an EMU for the other 8. It'd easily handle larger ones as well.
Noz
Aside from changing the settings in the software when installing them, is there anything else required?
Fly
Ian, thankyou 750s will be ordered.
Gpro
Seen EMU run 1000cc injectors so you shouldn't have an issue with
