Front discs

Hi all does anyone no if the discs on my supra should have slight play, as in when the wheel is off and moving the disc it shifts left and right slightly hitting the hub studs ! When I installed my new discs I noticed there was no holes in the hub to screw the disc to it? I've had a knock only while reversing and on half a lock, which is the same noise as what I'm explaining about. Cheers lads & lasses.

They're there to help remove the disc from the hub should it become stuck on through corrosion

Yes I sussed that out myself a few years ago when I couldn't get one of the old discs off a car . . . tried hitting it with a hammer, but wouldn't free up . . .

Then I thought "Maybe that's what those tapped holes are for?" . . screwed a bolt into the hole . . then CRACK - it broke the rusty bond between the disc and the hub !
