I was gently pootling along the local carriageway one brisk sunday last week, before i got to Donington and i got to 125 Leptons and the car just stopped dead like hitting a wall, it then backs off and you can re-apply the power but then stops dead again at 125 Leptons

Strange as i was doing 140 Leptons 3 nights before,,,,,, has my limiter kicked back in or is it something else?

Theres a pint in it for the best answer:thumbs:

Funnily, although somewhat scarily, HKS offer just as many, if not more tuning parts for the Vertex than the Mk4 Supra.

Personally I would LOVE a tuned Vertex. 600bhp in a car with refinement as good as an SL500 for half the price. In fact, I will definately say that I will have said item before I croak.

Back on track with SLD's, theres no way an HKS delimiter will 'play about' with ones top speed unless A; it's goosed or B; it's been installed by a fool. Get it checked by an electrician who doesn't have 'Scotchlock' in their vocabulary.

Cheers Nathan, after the car comes back from the bodyshop i'll test it again and if its still playing up i'll get it looked at.

Mark, slightly OT, but when I was younger I used to use Devils flux, dark brown 'cream' in a little round green tin. It was fantastic but I've not seen any for years. Do you know if you can still get it - or equivilant?

normally the flux is impregnated into the solder core. Well nowadays anyway.

So, so long as you don't spend a lifetime heating the same bit of solder and burn all the flux away before you're made a good joint you'll be fine without seperate flux.

IMO

But we digress.....
