mk1its
Guys Finally gone BPU and it does feel great however 1st and 2nd are a waste of time as the wheels just spin up......! Good fun snaking though Anyways, hit an issue tonight. Was snaking in 2nd at 101kpa with the wheels lit up and the slip control light came on the dash and stayed on. After that, boost wouldn't go above 0kpa? Almost as though it'd gone into limp home mode? When I pressed the slip control button the light when off and turned slip control off light on, but the boost stayed the same. Stopped the car, didnt take the key out the ignition but restarted the car and it still wouldn't boost? I've not checked for any loose pipes yet as it's dark but any ideas? Cheers Mark. Havard
I think you've blown a pipe off. Someone else who knows more will be here soon.

mk1its
Check the pipes too and from the inter-cooler up to the throttle body Just checked guys and yup, the rubber intercooler pipe going down past the battery has come apart. How the hell am I getting down there? Lol

Josh
Just checked guys and yup, the rubber intercooler pipe going down past the battery has come apart. How the hell am I getting down there? Lol I've got large hands and have managed it a few times when I've had that pipe off. At least it's nothing major
listy
Just checked guys and yup, the rubber intercooler pipe going down past the battery has come apart. How the hell am I getting down there? Lol Take the bumper off/get underneath, and undo the two joins either side of that one, and weave the piping out. Put it back together/replace, and then weave the whole thing back in, and do the ends up again. Simples
Dnk
I'd take the pipes off and clean them with brake cleaner then re fit
mk1its
Manage to get under there and reconnect the pipes; the under tray has a heck of a lot of screws; that was the most time consuming part but I guess it keeps all the crap off the engine. I've picked up a hard pipe SMIC kit so that'll be going on; most the rubber pipes have started blistering and are rock solid........
