cheekymonkey
I've had erratic idling in the past with this car but usually a tap of the throttle pedal sorts it out. Tonight however it seems a lot worse, both when the engine is cold and warm. Today I found that turning the A/C off seems to solve the issue, the car idles normally at around 900 rpm. As soon as I switch the a/c back on again and tap the throttle, I get an erratic hunting from 1000 rpm or so almost down the stall. Turning A/C off again returns to a normal idle. This leads me to suspect something more than a dirty IACV (which I've cleaned in the past). Anyone got any ideas? Running PowerFC rather than standard ECU if it makes a difference.
