Sorry, I thought the meeting up at the end of November for lunch was something you were going to arrange through the Facebook group chat? It might get confusing for non regular members who read only the first page of this thread or the post above yours, as the first page says the Basingstoke meet is every first weekend of the month between April to October only. Also my post above only says the meets are on April to October and nothing on during winter / early spring Clair and I will not be making it to the November catch up, due to us being away for her Birthday over the last weekend of the month. If you go to the pub, have an awesome time and please get me some photos!! Anyone who is interested in meeting at the pub at the end of November, please message ‘Soopra’. KamaSupra Posted March 20, 2020 Author Share Posted March 20, 2020 ~The EPIC Basingstoke Meet, Sunday 05/04/20 is CANCELLED~ I am sure you all saw it coming.... but it is with deep regret that the first Epic Basingstoke Meet of the year 2020 is cancelled, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I have taken the decision to temporarily cancel all future meets, I will re-start them when the time is right and message any regular attendees when they begin again. KamaSupra Posted August 24, 2020 Author Share Posted August 24, 2020 (edited) ~IT’S BACK, NEXT MEET- 12:30pm, SATURDAY 12/09/20 2020~ Finally the meets return and hopefully everyone has stayed healthy and safe during this awful pandemic. For social distancing purposes and to ensure a safe get together, the first meet of the year is going to be a little bit different compared to the usual. This time it will be on a Saturday and we will still meet in our usual place at 12:30pm, but rather than go to the pub for lunch. We will drive to a local burger van close to the pub (As voted for on the poll, which took place on Facebook). There we can chat, sit about and mingle all in a wide open space, where nobody will need to get too close to one another. If after a while anyone fancies it, I was thinking we could also go for a bit of spirited driving AKA hooning after lunch? If you’re interested, then please add your name to the list.
