Dan_Turism0
there's loads of turbo kits popping up in the states people getting 400whp on the stock engine with impressive levels of torque too....imo this is going to be a future tuner platform if it's not already [video=youtube;oLP-HCcX9as]
Kendo11
People in the states and Asia are going mental for how tuneable these are, pretty sure it was one of THE cars at sema 2013. But comparing it with a Supra? You crazy????
Josh
I think a TT new was around 40k and the NA was about 30k iirc. About £42k for an auto and £43k for a manual UK spec judging by the price list I have
Thorin
I love the Rocket Bunny kits for the GT-86. Another couple of years for prices to drop and I think I might buy one.
scott87
I love the Rocket Bunny kits for the GT-86. Another couple of years for prices to drop and I think I might buy one. They are already sold at a loss so unless you buy used i doubt the new price will fall much at all..
monkey76364
Sounds really good in that video. I have to say I like the look if it, hunk it's nice and very open to modifications

scott87
I wouldn't buy a new car. I also highly doubt they are sold at a loss. Thats what i was told by my mate who works for Toyota, but you're right it is a bit doubtful! Yer i wouldn't buy a new car either, that drop the moment you leave the showroom!!! Pete
I'm more interested in what the BMW/Toyota alliance will produce. I wouldn't buy a new car. I also highly doubt they are sold at a loss. They appear to be holding their values quite well. I test drove one and have to say it was great fun. Not a Supra swap, but I'd certainly consider it a swap for the Tiger. Nic
Detroit Motor Show next week, there were rumours that Toyota would show a new Supra concept.
Fly
always are rumors. I love the look of the rocket bunny GT86
Pulley
That's just a Photoshop. I don't get the point of these threads. It was never intended to replace the Supra so why would you bother comparing the two. Are you referring to a Lichfield BRZ? Same as , the kraftwerks setup , almost identicle, using rotrex sc I originally drove a prototype rotrex setup that was a garden shed prototype Just so happened to look identicle to litchfields offering (only so many ways to skin a cat)
Dan_Q
quite similar performance wise (a to b that is) to an NA soop in stock form. its a bit unfair as my soop is an early one, 20 years old so many parts will be worn- and many ponies escaped I imagine- but stock spec I didn't stand a chance (my driving skills also don't help) against the GT86 when it was first released. however, now I have a few handling mods I'm mixing it in with stock GT86's at sprint events. I was up against eleven (in class- there were 2 turbo ones too) of the bu66ers at blyton park last year, I managed to scalp 6 of them- so just over half! to be fair, most if not all of those drivers were novices though it just puts a smile on my face when I think I paid 10% of the list price of a new GT86. ok I've had to spend more since but I still like to think that To summarise I absolutely love the GT86- its no soop, totally different character of car, but I love them for what they are. Just my 2P and that orange one above- wow
