Cipriani
OK I have a really annoying problem! Since having my rear brakes done 2 days ago ( discs, shoes and pads) I have started getting the handbrake warning light appearing on the dash randomly while driving. The handbrake has been adjusted to 1 click which is nice but im wondering if that could be fooling something into thinking it is up slightly? Also the same day some proper clever female passenger managed to spill my cappuccino everywhere while parked up. It mostly went on the drivers carpet and seat but also went down into the gear selector area, so I quickly remover the trim and dried out as much as I could with kitchen roll. The car has since been valeted and the warming smell of freshly ground beans has vacated the cabin! So I guess the question is could the coffee have disturbed a sensor or something around the interior handbrake area? or is it more likely to be mechanically linked to the change of brakes. Nic
Have you checked the brake fluid level? that could be the cause of the intermittent brake warning light, the sensor is very sensitive so make sure it's slightly above the max level. Cipriani
Brake fluid is pretty much on minimum. Will get it topped up!
