Iky
Hi, I'm planning on powder coating the whole intake I've got the throttle body removed but just want to double check, how easy will it be to re-calibrate the throttle position sensor when re-fitting? Also I think there is another position sensor for the traction control I think? If someone could please confirm.
David P
The sensors are easy enough to position, details in WSM. Reassembling the butterflies, ramps, springs and stops correctly will be the challenge.

David P
Throttle body strip and reassembly is an art, get yourself an un-tinkered with spare for reference, or you'll stumble. Can be very dangerous if you get it even slightly wrong. Try the WSM with another browser, or better still get a hard copy. Andrew K
Use a camera and take loads of pics as you disassemble it so you can look back and see how it goes together, that's what I did and used the Toyota workshop manuals I have.
