DodgyRog
The top pic, which I think is yours It looks like it has been opened and sealed and then someone has added loads of extra seal over the edge Also the metal clips are missing Chances are if they have been opened before, then your best bet is to open them up and clean all the old sealant of and reseal them again, make sure you use some metal clips
DodgyRog
Just noticed there are a lot of bits missing from the back, so I am guessing you have already stripped them down If they were mine, I would start again Break them down again in the oven and make sure you clean all the old crap off Then get a good amount of sealant in the join and get a good amount of pressure to sandwich them back together, try and keep the pressure even all the way around the joint, get the metal clips back on as quickly as possible after you join them
paulj1
They've been opened twice now as they have always misted up might try one last time it will take a while to get all the silicone off I put on though to try seal them
