Sukhy
I don't drive my car much over the winter but thought I would take it for a run out on one of the better days and when trying to do so I found that the battery was dead. I know that the battery was on its way out but a normal jump start usually just kicks everything back in. Now on this occassion after the jump start, everything was working fine apart from my DVD head unit and boost controller - there was no power to them. The boost controller (Greddy Profec A) sits directly under the head unit in the centre console so think that they could be spliced into each other for a power source and that possibly the fuse behind the head unit has blown. I will check this when I have time but checked the radio fuses in the drivers kick panel and under the bonnet, and they seem ok. Could it be a relay issue? I then changed the battery for a new one and also now find that when I am driving, the doors are locking and unlocking by themselves sometimes pretty rapidly like there is a connection issue somewhere. Could this be a ground/earth problem from the battery? Any info on what to check is appreciated. Sukhy
