LOGIE
Never seen it but its good to see a v8 with a manual conversion esp R154 not a bad price either
DodgyRog
I saw this at Modified Mania, had a quick chat with him He said he had been banned off here for supposed trading, but said he wasn't ( I did not want to get into it, think from memory he mentioned Listy, so he might no more) The Supra was okay, bit scruffy and lowered to the deck The conversion looked okay from what I could see, but I didn't have a proper check over My main concern would be the bodywork, I didn't go over it properly, but seem to remember thinking it do with some work and with it being the specialist paint it is, it's not going to be just a quick cheap touch up
gt4tosupra
Ah right. Hmm. I resprayed my s13 last year, and it took me AGES. Was good in the end, but wouldn't want to do another any time soon Would have made sense for someone to pick a nice shell in the first place to do a big conversion eh
DodgyRog
It wouldn't surprise me if it was a nice shell when the conversion was done You have to remember it's not an expensive conversion if you do it yourself Let's for instance say it was an N/A Auto with a deadish engine, assuming they wanted to go manual, going V8 R154 isn't an expensive option I would say if you get it for the right price it would be worth a punt, just don't expect a clean show car I would class it more of a slammed to the deck track/drift car It looked okay paint wise, just not great and to give the guy his due, he has said it in the advert
gt4tosupra
Ye true I know what u mean. R154 ~1200, 1uz ~800, then the price of an NA auto in the first place maybe 1500, so about right, ish

So the only conclusion I can come up with is to burn it with FIRE

gt4tosupra
I'm in 2 minds atm as whether or not to sell one of the Soarers and get a supra again. The problem before was fuel economy and trying to get a baby seat in the back . Fuel economy doesn't matter as much as before, but I now have 2 cars anyway, a v8 soarer and a tuned tt soarer. The v8 gets decent mpg and has a big back seat and boot, it's a really good daily. Soooo, should I sell the tt and get another supra is the question?
