Big Supes
After following a guide, I later found out the wiring is different on my UK spec (load of warning lights). I can't seem to find a guide for a UK or US spec anywhere. Anyone have any links or know what goes where? Cheers.
perpy1878
I'm pretty sure you don't need fed on UK spec as mine ain't got one
Big Supes
I did wonder perpy as I never hit fuel cut after changing the exhaust and decat-ing. Have you increased the boost or are you running stock boost on a decat system?

Big Supes
Ok, cheers for the info dudes. I'll keep it handy until I turn the boost up (just in case), but it'll more than likely go back to the supplier if not needed.

Big Supes
Boost controller has just arrived so I guess it's time to fit it, turn the boost up and find out if the FCD is needed. . .

Big Supes
Sounds like you're hitting fuel cut which kinda confirms what I've been thinking. I reckon the UK spec is ok up to 1.1 bar of boost, but when you exceed that, it'll hit the fuel cut. I'm surprised there isn't a hard n fast conclusion on this to hand, tbh. It needs one mate if you go over 1bar with a BC. I've rear it a while ago. It's only if you just remove the cats then its fine. Plus no harm in installing one anyways just make sure it's on the correct setting.

Big Supes
9 seems to be the general consensus on the HKS mate.
Fizzy T
I'm about to do a double decat and 3" straight through exhaust on my UK spec auto supra...Just bought a HKS FCD and now apparently I don't need one?
Big Supes
That's correct mate. You won't need it for the decat and exhaust. You only need it if you're going to exceed 1.1 bar of boost.
