LOGIE
Ok so correct me if im wrong but should the stock electric fans just switch on when the coolant temp gets to a certain temp? My electric fans are on straight away from start up. I should say im NA-TT but I changed the engine bay loom so I could have the benefits of additional cooling and the fan relays are present. I do have the coolant temp switch in the radiator Edited December 28, 2013 by LOGIE (see edit history)

Take it you didn't get that sensor for the bottom of the rad yet then? Edited December 28, 2013 by TheTurtleshead (see edit history)

ScottC
You don't have the air con pressure switch plugged in Edited December 29, 2013 by ScottC (see edit history)
LOGIE
You don't have the air con pressure switch plugged in Aahhhhh that true. I couldn't find a deep enough 27 mm socket. I didn't realise that would cause the fans to run. How did you know mate? Were you at my car overnight?
ScottC
I just linked out the two extra wires on the TT plug until I had it fitted. Aahhhhh that true. I couldn't find a deep enough 27 mm socket. I didn't realise that would cause the fans to run. How did you know mate? Were you at my car overnight? I had the same problem until I looked at the wiring diagram and realised they were wired in series. Fizzy T
Does the TT not have these then or are you talking about the twin small fans that are used to cool the condenser? I removed those thinking they were just for the A/C.
LOGIE
I have twin fans built into the rad shroud. Not removable

I know the one you mean mate its a Y shaped bracket with 1 fan that comes off. Mine is a facelift shroud that has 2 built in fans.
