Andrew K
I know this has been talked about in recent post and I'm sure I've read that this one is the best for holding the pressure, HKS Racing Blow-Off Valve. Is this the one that has been mentioned before in this link? http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=1220&SearchYN Also I've been looking at these blow of valves and can't decide between the two! It's a Turbosmart Raceport BOV. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php/toyota/supra/blow-off-valves/turbosmart-1055.html I know people have there own views on these things but i want to include one in my build. Nic
What spec Supra is it to fit? On a stock turboed Supra I'd use an HKS SSQV Supra specific kit, this includes all the parts and fittings to replace the stock BOV http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php/hks-1490.html On a single turboed Supra a universal HKS SSQV BOV with a universal boss welded onto the IC hard pipes. It's going to be for a single turbo build I'm doing, this is a link to my build thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?291326-Andrew-s-Single-turbo-6-speed-V161-Build

Have to let me know what it's like once you've driven the car a bit, I'm sure Jamie said something about these ones being best out of the HKS series especially on higher power supra's running higher boost etc.

Would the HKS SSQV be ok on something running 500 to 600bhp as that's where I'm hoping to be?

Yes it'll be fine, they use a pull type 2 stage valve so it does really matter how much boost you run with them, just make sure it's a genuine one as there are loads of cheap ebay knock offs about now. Andrew K
Also does it matter whereabouts there mounted, closer to the inlet side or closer to the exhaust side?
