Auto spark advice

I had a wee rake about Google and on the site for this but couldn't really answer my question.

I've got what used to be a J-spec TT auto 1995 and I've put into it a V8 1uz and auto box out of a 199? soarer (old one non VVTI). The engines in their I've ran the big load of wires through the bulk head and plugged the ECU in and now I have no clue what to do I know vaguely but not enough to proceed with confidence. There are some cut earth wires also.

I also have a backup V8 1uz from an LS400 with every wire from the whole car sitting this was remove from a running car with autobox and igniters etc.

My question is if I was to approach an auto electrician do you think they'd accept the job to get it running or would I be struggling or looking at a bill of more than the cars worth?

Any info much appreciated I've owned this car for about 6 months now and still never turned a wheel under its own steam!

First off, what were you thinking?! Second you're gonna want to take it to someone who's experienced in engine conversions.

I had to fit a tt auto loom into a 6 speed loom to get my conversion up and running it took hours of wiring diagrams and checking and double checking. So I feel your pain. There was a member on here (UGP aka Ben) who could make you a plug and play loom adapter for 1uz engine-2jz body but he got banned. Ask sunny SPG to contact him on mkivGroup as he is still on there I think.

What you are trying to do is match the wires from the Soarer ECU to the body loom of the Supra, so at the very least you'll need the ECU pin outs for the two cars.

IIRC there was some pretty detailed wiring information for a UZZ31 engine into JZA80 conversion on v-eight.com (or possibly Toymods).
