TBDevelopments
i was under the impression once these bushes go its a complete rear arm replacement as the bushes aren't replaceable. found this what do you guys think? i need to do both of mine. But i'm also planning when the funds are available probably near the summer to replace all the arms and legs front and rear with brand new toyota to do a complete suspension revamp. But didn't want to do the rear arms, then 8 months later everything else. Wanted it all done at the same time. New car feel and all that lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BUSH-REAR-UPPER-ARM-TOYOTA-ARISTO-SOARER-SUPRA-LEXUS-GS300-JZS147-SC300-40-ZZ31-/251403920118?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ASupra&hash=item3a88d762f6 Tim

Dnk
Toyota don't sell o/e bushes so my concern would be are the ebay ones any good. The o/e bushes in the rear upper arms as far as i'm aware are not just a plain bush either. Obviously you'll have to take a flier on how long the ball joints last for as you can't replace those. TBDevelopments
oh yes i know about the ball joint. I was just looking at a quick fix until later in the year when i replace it all anyway. my ball joints are currently fine and from reading this forum seems the ball joint is a rare failure its the bushes that go. Alot of people are running the proflex poly bushes which are just a straight bearing without issues so i don't see why this rubber unit won't work just as well. After all its not a spherical bearing or anything like that, just a metal sleeved setup. Tim
