Benjy
If the manufacture of the car doesn't allow a full size UK plate, you can have an import sized plate that fits your vehicle. I.e. They won't make you buy a new bumper because there's nowhere to fit a UK size plate. I know this because I made a traffic officer backtrack a couple of weeks ago by telling him this when he tried to do me for a small import size plate. James
I'll tell you the same as I would tell the police, better get writing out a fine cause it's nae going on! Being a plate that wasn't on the car at time of import, they'll revoke it back to the previous if they pull you up for it and log it on 3 separate occasions. mplavery
I run my car with the front number plate in the windscreen for the past 3 years However I DO know I'm breaking the law and if I get points it's my own falt It's a risk most of us take just to make the car that little nicer at the front lol However I will be putting a front one on when I buy a number plate flipper

Swampy442
Read this and you will feel better... http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/05/u8upyvab.jpg If you don't break the law, you don't get points, pretty simple really. Ill bet a lot of people on here have had clean licenses for many years, me included. All that report says is every other police force aren't doing their jobs. Also, why don't you want to fit a front plate? Just for looks?
drift_bear
I'll admit I used to have points on my licence for speeding up untill 2 years ago, learned my lesson (sometimes lol) from it. I don't run a plate on my bumper cause I think it ruins the looks off the car tbh, looks more cleaner have a clean front.
