Cipriani
Ok not exactly a new member on here but I have after much searching found a nice clean N/A SZ. The plan is to learn the car before doing a N/A-T as ill be mostly hitting the highland switchbacks rather than the long straits I think an N/A will be fine for now. I have quite a lot of time to spend on the car and have a budget of around 5k to restore it to its former glory. 1st question though as im looking to set the car up for grip driving what tyre recommendations would you guys suggest? From my FWD experience parada spec 2's are great but I really dont want to get the tyre choice wrong on this car
Graham1984
I found a site called oponeo the other week, I think a few people on here have used them too so might be worth checking their prices after deciding what to buy, I use Hankook ventus v12's iirc. Welcome to the club too.
j_jza80
Hi there I would get in contact with Chris Wilson on this forum. He's our resident Suspension specialist, and will advise you of the optimum tyre / suspension package for your budget. After that, look into getting an uprated LSD - the TRD diff is a popular upgrade, and transforms the way the car drives.
drift_bear
Looks a nice example! Hopefully see it at some Scottish meets. Are those wheels veilside Andrews?!
Cipriani
Cheers guys, the wheels so appear to be Andrew's although with non original centre caps. They're a little rough just now but will make good winter wheels.

If they are genuine Andrews then are worth a pretty penny and rare iirc lol

Cipriani
Looks so much better with the glass headlights! Do you know if they can be split in the oven like the plastic units? I need my inserts painted anthracite grey to achieve the look I'm after. Mike
