Zantose
When you hit fuel cut will the warning triangle definitely come on? When booting it i get a very short cut in power, seems to happen at about 15 PSI according to my boost gauge, although i dont keep a constant eye on it when going that fast. Feels like what others have described as fuel cut, but it is a VERY short moment, maybe 1 second or less, before the power is back on. Im not getting a warning triangle tho. Any ideas? Jake
Sounds more like spark plugs. It's all in the FAQ section, have a look
Willson
Sounds like a mis-fire. Feels very similar but doesnt have the warning light. How are your spark plugs ? Edit - oops, bit late there.....
carl0s
My fuel-cut occurs like this most of the time, although I do not really let the car hit fuel-cut very often, and of course I'm straight off the gas when it happens. I have had the warning-triangles fuel-cut too though. I have my boost alarm set to 15psi until I can get round to installing my FCD.

Steve
What plugs did you try? What setup do you have??
Zantose
IK24's both cats are out. dont currently have FCD fitted, im going to try it asap, but i had Emin try twice, i believe with different units, and when they were in the idle was rough and the car would try to stall when you let off the gas, and nice black smoke to acompany it. So possibly something else is wrong as well
Clarkey
Did you reset the ECU after fitting the FCD ? Black smoke is usually overfueling ... think it would be good idea to pull off the ECU error codes. Do a search .. there's a thread on here on how to do it. I think it's one of IanC's. chilli
Not sure of your car is uk or jap, but as a long shot, if your mixure is wrong (black smoke) and idling is also all wrong, any chance the o2 sensor is not working correctly?
Zantose
Its Jspec. I'm just about to check out the error code thing, so i'll update with my findings asap.
Zantose
Ok, no error codes. Only thing i get is the O/D Off light flashes continuously. Which light is supposed to give the error codes exactly?
