Nodalmighty
Do you think you could do anything with the vvti ecu ? It has the auto ecu built in it The VVTI tiptronic does have a prob that when we delimit it could kick down late I have a spare ecu The Autobox EMU will take full control of the box, The factory ECU will be fooled into thinking it's locked in 1st gear so it doesn't try any ignition retard tom foolery (Not ideal). There are going to be ignition retard control lines for stand alone ecu applications that can support them. It was not really designed to work with a stock ecu to be fair. I think the HKS SLD has hooks into the auto box solenoids and the traction control ecu to prevent these issues you describe. http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7638/altezza5atsldiidiag.jpg Lyndon. Nodalmighty
Any plans for a sort of "pass through" option that will leave control with the Toyota ECU? In other words, options of "manual", custom auto map(s), or do nothing - leave it to Toyota. The default Supra map should be a real close copy of stock and support manual and O/D off and paddle shift and Snow mode on the VVTi. Lyndon.
