trinitom
right, i have this guy selling an n/a Supra from 97 auto for 12,5k. he says the car is producing 400hp with no turbo upgrade, just injectors, ecu, and engine work etc... even show a dyno print with the 400 hp (probably from other car)! to me this is just bull.. as i'm sure a n/a supra don't go over 300 hp without a turbo. can someone confirm what's the record hp for the n/a engine with no turbo upgrade? Dazzi
Max i've heard in the US is xdreamers supra running 280hp (probably on a lego dyno) There were a couple in Japan 300hp and 400hp with a lot, and I mean a lot of money spent on them. tony tt
Stock NA is about 225hp I think. You won't get that much power gains modding an NA. Certainly nowhere near 400hp.

Chris Bailey
Is it bad that I quite like that interior! Apart from the steering wheel. The exterior is awful!
trinitom
i don't believe this car is running 400 hp. and at that price he can get a chair and seat waiting for a buyer.

abtin90
I agree minus the steering wheel that's a lovely interior. Any pics of the engine bay or a list of modifications?
Swampy442
As above its not possible to get 400 without SERIOUS money being spent.
LOGIE
As above its not possible to get 400 without SERIOUS money being spent. Id still like to know how to get 400bhp regardless of cost.

kraig
I looked at the interior and honestly thought i must have something wrong with me because I actually like that, don't feel too bad now that i'm not the only one. You got any engine bay pictures?
Swampy442
Id still like to know how to get 400bhp regardless of cost. Revs. Lots and lots of revs. F1 engines get 700odd from a 2.4 by revving to 18,000.

Rich.2211
Id still like to know how to get 400bhp regardless of cost. I know you're asking about how to get 400bhp NA but.. just bolt a turbo to it and be done with it!
Kaan W
Revs. Lots and lots of revs. F1 engines get 700odd from a 2.4 by revving to 18,000. 400hp can be made at 10k rpm providing its still making 210ft lbs by then. Alot of effort for nothing though imo.
Tsia
Even an NA-T wouldn't be 12.5k though :|
Fly
Need some engine bay pics and a possible spec list. Revving the be Jesus out of it plus a lot of money .
Bayden_uk
You could pick up a TT areo top for that price. Even less probably
Ian C
Someone spent £30k on a 350Z engine getting it to rev that high and it was still half the power of a turbo'd one for a third of the cost
Kendo11
That interior is stunning! Apart from the steering wheel, the speakers, the tweeters, the carpets, and the colour scheme. If he is claiming 400bhp from an NA then I'd probably buy it as I'm still learning about these cars But as said - demand a spec list and engine bay picture!
