Stock fuel filter flow rate.

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me the flow rate of a stock fuel filter. Would it flow enough fuel for a -8AN line without restriction.

Depends on how much power its going to be running.

 

If your going to the trouble of changing to a -8 line may as well change the filter as well.

 

It might do it but its not worry the pita if it doesn't do the job.

 

I've run them to around 750hp Max

750hp, is that still using the stock fuel line Lee?

I saw 1 of your pics of the Torque monster and noticed you had a stock filter in there with a twin feed adaptor.

That was Alex's car that has stock filter with the y piece

 

Kim's car has -8 Teflon line through a high flow filter like the Aeromotive ones.

 

you can fit these filters into the stock filter bracket which makes it nice and easy

Sorry Lee, my mistake. Yeah I've got a Jay racing -10 filter on mine. Fit perfectly into the stock bracket.
