Dnk
Think of all that salt & grit attacking the underside of your car, let alone the idiots that can't drive on snow or ice, no thanks. Or the sight of the gritting wagon coming the other way and about to cover your pride and joy A new set of winter tyres will set you back over £400 in 17" Cheap run about is the best option or a 4x4 if you have the spare cash. s1984
What oil are you guys running in winter? A friend told me that 5W40 is okay, but i´m not sure.
Tsia
Collecting my new winter run around today, too. I'm sure the Supra would be fine (unless it snows a lot) but I think I'd feel better if I drove a s**theap to work and back instead of the Supra when everything is a slippery slide. Bring on the ST202 Celica!
safcdixon
I only ever use mine on dry days normally anyway, stuff driving it in the snow the wet is bad enough you guys that are swapping insurance to another car are you not worried about something happening to your supra whilst its unisurered? That is the main reason I hardly drive the Supra, luckily I live in an area where you don't actually need a car so snowy day normally means working from home
Purity14
I'm on the bike mostly, so ill probably only drive it when it snows, but only if its deep enough.
listy
To be fair, if you're worried about the snow, just stick a failside front on the Supra. Instant snow plough Those bumpers must have a use somewhere

mac79
Mine is my daily drive but i did think about getting a cheap car just for the snow and ice. I get stuck by work a couple times in my N/A during the snow 2 years ago, now i have a TT auto i dont think i will bother even tring to use it for work when we have snow this year. mattdavies
I use the train daily but the supra is my only car. I enquired about Part-worn winter tyres only yesterday so will probably change my rears soon
drift_bear
Once the car is back at the end of the month, will be getting detailed and then put into storage. If we get no snow/ice again I'll take it out for the odd crisp winter blast
