Anyone recommend a particular kit that comes with everything to install an a/f gauge inc. the gauge? 3. is there a 2step limiter i can put on my 2jz-ge?, if so can you recommend one? Swampy442
Theres no point fitting an afr gauge on a GE (unless you're NA/T) so thats 1 and 2 taken car of, and a 2 step limiter, is that a Bee R?
Fly
Welcome to the club. I would suggest the innovate range. Their wideband afr gauge comes with sensor and also has data logging capability. The kit comes with step by step instructions. As for the limiter no idea sorry

Guest Roger NE
i just like to know what my car is doingI know what you mean . . . I'm a Mk3 Supra owner (on here as I'm fitting a 2JZ-GE) . . . but I'm amazed the Mk4 doesn't have an Oil Pressure gauge or Voltmeter as standard on the dash, like the Mk3! Graham1984
I have an annoying voltmeter and afr gauge on my A frame trim that the previous owner put in (apparently he was going to NA-T it) now as annoying as it is as the afr gauge is not even plumbed in so I am running extremely lean the voltmeter saved my arse the other month when my alternator started to go tits up. If you flip the cover on your diagnostic port, the ox1 and ox2 pins are from the 2 o2 sensors used on the ge which if you are fitting a simple "am I lean or not" narrow band will do. Otherwise for a wideband you will need to get a boss welded in somewhere for the wideband sensor. Suprakeith has a bee r fitted, there was a thread about it recently and it went down well with a few members if you do a search I am sure you can find it, he may be able to help you re fitting tips. Tricky-Ricky
If you just want a decorative gauge then just fit a narrow band lambda gauge, it wont tell you anything useful, but it will look the part, however anyone who knows engines will probably laugh, if you don't trust the std ECU or want to tune then fit a wide-band lambda setup, if you want some very good data logging capabilities and software then go for one of the Innovate Motorsport range. Paul-90
What is this? Explain more please.... The omex limiter is wired into your coil just. I think its called a spark interrupter. Mine has launch control which is a second lower limiter that is controlled by a button. Both limiters are fully adjustable and i have mine set to 100 rpm below the standard limiter and the launch control is set to around 5000rpm i think. Brand new the omex limiter with launch control is around £120.
