Sluggish throttle response on lift-off

Last night I noticed a couple of things off with the car, and was hoping for some advice.

1. When I lift off the throttle, it takes about another second before the throttle seems to close - so when I change gear it's as if I'm blipping the throttle between changes... but I'm not. It's actually done this noticeably on a previous journey earlier in the week, even when fully warm.

2. I also noticed on my boost gauge that at idle from cold I was only going down to about -0.5 bar. It was just a quick 10 minute collection from the station, so the car never really got warmed up, but it never dropped below about -0.65 - it's usually closer to -0.9 on idle and overrun.

Could this be down to a sticky throttle in some way? A tired old spring maybe?

Cheers anyone that can help

The throttle on my NA started to stick after it had bene stood up, but it would stick shut. A good clean out with some meths on a rag removed all the breather deposits and cured it. The closing spring should be pretty stiff, though. I'm surprised it is sticking open.
