Big Mark
My areial doesn't always go all the way down so i guessed that it was a mast fault so brought a replacement from ebay but now that it's arrived it doesn't look right. Am I correct in thinking that there shouldbe a toothed plastic belt at the bottom of the mast? This one deosn't have that and I don't fancy messing around removing the old one if this is not going to fit. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300960257259?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Anyone got a pic of what a replacement mast should look like? stevie_b
I don't have a photo, but yes the mast should have a toothed plastic belt running up the middle of it. I clicked on the link, but the photo on ebay is as clear as mud.

Dnk
Undo the locking nut on yours and then turn the radio on which should feed yours out, its not the correct aerial mast looking at the photo in your link. Do the reverse to fit a new one but check all the nylon is intact on your old one The one royh posted above is Edited November 9, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
Jord
Yup stock one has a toothed belt down the middle. You're much better off buying an aerial off a member on here. I had to wait a while to find one but they're similar money to your eBay one.

Nic
Another option would be to retro fit a Honda S2000 aerial. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-s2000-aerial-ap1-ap2-/111187622079?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19e34c78bf
Big Mark
I can't decide if I like the stubby aerials on not. Think I'll just get a new factory mast as I think I prefer the look of it when down.
Benjy
I've got one. How much use it'll be I don't know but you're welcome to it.
Dazzi
My mast kept jamming so bought a replacement off ebay a year ago. Still going strong http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-Electric-Aerial-Power-Antenna-Mast-1993-1998-/171162494492?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27da14661c
Digsy
The genuine replacement aerials aren't that dear from Toyota. When you extract your old areial you will probably find there is a small length of the plastic left inside the spool which you will have to remove before fitting the new part.
