CanisLupus
Map when engine switched off seems pretty high. Should rather be around 1000. What AFR Sensor do you use? Maybe it's shot and gives wrong outputs to the Syvecs ECU?
TT Paul
aem afr could be but only way to check i guess its buy one or test it some how might try feeed from stock lamba ox1 see if that changes it to syvecs Edited November 7, 2013 by TT Paul (see edit history)
CanisLupus
Does it smell like running rich? 10 afr is mighty rich and the car will smell of unburnt fuel. Any cuts or missfires when driving or idling?
TT Paul
boost cut wot, idle lumpy and fuel being badly used and fuel smelt strong pull away crap and would start not when hot other day, sounds like a lamba it is wideband to so may effect higher revs ?? and checked at mot on emissions so its high

mellonman
If its not the ecu telling it to go that rich , then it must be a injector issue I would say that would explain alot of the symptoms, or maybe the resistor pack
Wez
Map when engine switched off seems pretty high. Should rather be around 1000. that is reading approx 0.4 bar positive pressure.

Wez
map sensors then Either map sensor is foobar or you have the wrong linearisation, you can check this in sCall under "Sensors / Manifold Absolute Pressure / Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor 1A / Linearisation" What make / model map sensor are you using and when was it calibrated and by who? Wez
OK, you will need the correct linearisation for that sensor, you might be better off checking on the Syvecs forum as someone may have the sensor information to hand
Wez
This datasheet has min/max values http://www.cosworth.hu/content/hasznos/Weber-Marelli%20sensors/aps02_03-05_01.pdf

chazuk
There must be other people that can check this out otherwise if something ever happened to Ryan everyone with a Syvecs is stuffed , didn't I see a post by Ryan some time back Paul @ syvecs is trained up might be worth a go since its only going to be a sensor gone ? CanisLupus
Open the Scal, connect to the ECU. go to Sensors - Manifold absolute pressure sensor 1a - linearisation. Then input the following: 0.000-0.235 = 0 4.770-5.005 = 3080 After that you select the range from 0.235-4.770(shift + arrow key), Math(upper right corner) - Interpolate - Interpolate X Should look something like this: Then device - Program. This should calibrate the sensor right and hopefully solve your problem Edited November 8, 2013 by CanisLupus (see edit history)
